Mozilla Labs introduced an interesting approach to connecting the web to language. It seems similar to the concept of mashups, but allows for this to happen without having to write any code (mashups for the masses, so to speak). This is a very early prototype and does seem to have some user interface issues. If you experiment with it, I would be interested in your observations and comments. Thursday of our #nationalWebContest. Today our competitors are from colleges. Again, we focus on best practices with respect to coding, business, and ethics.
Our #nationalWebContest high school competitors have a full day today. They meet with the client at 8:30 and then begin building the sites to meet those described business needs.
First day of our #nationalWebContest. Today we have orientation for competitors. A review of best practices. And, an exam to confirm basic knowledge of web tech in 2022.
