As the AEL 2010 Summer Institute was coming to a close, we spent some time at the Technology Museum in San Jose. Most of us spent a fair amount of time riding Segway’s around an obstacle course. Yes, I did the entire course backwards at one point. I think there was a 2 drink minimum before we could ride those devices *grin*. We all had a great deal of fun.

After the winners were announced at Kemper Arena, they moved on stage and were introduced to the crowd of over 15,000 people.
The winners of the WOW 2010 National Web Design contest were announced in Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri on June 25, 2010. More than 15,000 people were in attendance. The video below captures the moment the winners were announced.
The WOW National Web Design contest was held as part of the SkillsUSA National competitions in Kansas City, Missouri. The awards ceremony in Kemper Arena highlighted many contest winners. I thought this overview would give some sense of the number of people in attendance (over 15,000) and the overall venue for the awards.
